Big Day today

So it's my birthday Today. well a big day, not really since I happened to run the same thing as yesterday, but all is good, that's the important thing. I got a surprise yesterday and a perfect gift from my gal, I will rock this bad boy gift all day long, promise. It wasn't super expensive but I get the idea. Thanks babe.

To sum up, pretty good day for today, sure weekend will bring more surprises to me. Long live my self, forever young shall it be.

Awkward Moment at Buckingham Palace

Barrack Obama visited England last week and apparently he went to Buckingham Palace to meet with the queen and the rest of the royal family. He gave a speech for the queen but alas! his secretaries didn't know much about the protocol in royal family, here are some protocols I retrieve from the net:

- You must not touch a glass before the queen DOES
- You should be quiet while national anthem is playing

A few words that WORK

I stumbled across a beautiful passage on TV while eating my dinner. It was from Australia's Got Talent, nope, I am not the biggest fan of this show, and yes I think the judges are lame. Anyways back to the main point, the passage was saying "Prepare for the worst, and Hoping for the best", this one really stung me in the heart, I am at my down time now, finding a perfect solution isn't easy and yes I am preparing for my worst now but still hoping for the best. A great motivation to all human being in the world could come from the least expected thing.

Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Nice we had been waiting for the this movie as Johnny Depp is starring on it and the previous Pirates trilogy were a huge success. Long story short, We secured our tickets and got ready to rock and roll, this time without popcorn, no problemo, I still got my iced green tea latte from Starbucks - remember lads, always bring something with you to enjoying your movie, unless you are gonna be drained and stuffed! :) Anyways, movie started and viola! I was bored during the whole movie! the story was exaggerating and boring, oh man not again, even the fifth one will come out and I would STILL watch it but the review is bad. Mr. Depp's acting was awesome but not the whole story, sorry to say.

The Governor says "Sorry"

Who would've thought he would cheat on his beloved wife? Well, Whoopi and the rest of The View crew did. When you are up there, the wind blows even stronger, and our weak defense will be struck by huge temptations. Irony for a such role model, I love him,both as a Terminator or a ordinary person with happy family on his side, but the truth tells different, it's been all revealed now and the memories will fade away. My sympathy to Maria. Their 25 years of marriage ended just like that.

Insidious

A Horror movie called Insidious, is playing at my favourite cinema. I've been bragging about this movie to my friends, no one wanted to watch it, typical chicken friends, I hear ya. LOL So, last night, I asked my gal and a friend to accompany me to watch this well-review horror movie at 9.30 pm, I thought watching at night would give more electric excitement to my thirst of good horror movie. Turned out I was right. Best horror movie in 2011, I could say. The plot, the scene, and the actors are well made/chosen. From a maker of Saw and Paranormal Activity - the house was the same as in Paranormal Activity 2, it was a modern movie with vintage touch. A must see for horror movie fans.

New Shoes New Happiness

How Happy I am to get a new pair of shoes, after all these meltdowns, it's so nice to finally have something on my side to brighten up a bit. Nothing beats the feeling of welcoming a new arrival on my shoes cabinet. All thanks to my gal, accompanied me, recommended one, even carried for me - no the last one meant to be a joke. Bubba says it's HoME

Do you ever think of going back in time? or simply wants to stop the time? or fast forward to the future? I do. The good old days bring me attention to this point where I am miserably down with all these conditions. It's not life that gets boring, it's the condition, sometimes you feel trapped inside this situation where you don't belong, entertainments are just excuses to feel numb. I know the solution! i need my family! As far I've been enjoying living overseas with all the resources available to my end, there's something missing still, where is home? the geniuses will say "family" - the word "family" doesn't just simplify into parents with children, but it extends to the matter of your friends, best friends, dogs-barking, home-scented air, your old bedroom, picture framed on your wall, the chickens sing in the morning, the screaming of a young man selling grocery stuff, and many more. I would love to be there again, like bubba said once "It feels great to be Home!"

Face Transplant is now Getting Better

Remember when the world news aired a man who was stung with high-powered electricity that almost destroyed his face? I would be very devastated if I were him, but his spirit to live and bounce back is Amazing and no one could stop him from having a strong faith! Apparently his face transplant is almost done, and finally showed up on public yesterday. His doctors deserve thumbs up to get the job done perfectly, even his daughter compliments his face, she said "Daddy's handsome", two words that mean the world to him.

Bravo to those who take part of this magical momentum.

Miyako Japanese Restaurant

Fine dining is one of things I'd like to do on the weekend. Apparently, this time is Japanese-themed dinner. As many of you would say Japanese is famous for their sushi, chicken teriyaki, or their seafood seasoned with Japanese scented sauce, but I ordered steak instead (recommended by restaurant manager), and the result? It was Awesome! really beyond my expectation, the sauce just nailed and melted smoothly on my tongue, and the meat was just blended well with the rich taste of the sauce. Recommended for sure.

Bling Bling Shoes

Looks like the fashion trend is shifting to bling bling this year, the hype is happening within the world of fashionista, believe it or not, I've noticed it a couple of times of people wearing these blingy shoes, looks nice! even with formal wear, they just match the whole outfit incredibly. Be prepared for the glare, people!

Solebox by Sinn

I've never paid attention to Sinn watches before, but lately I am starting to appreciate what they have done on their U series, cool watches to bear with. I know this is probably an old news for watch lovers but this watch made for Solebox in Germany is uber cool... Should have snapped it on first launch. Priced around $3500.

THOR

Last Saturday, I spent a night to watch this very newly released movie with my girl, I didn't even know what Thor is, but looking at the starring credit, Natalie Portman was there, why would i miss this? I went with the 3D, and the effects were awesomely stunning, the imaginative heaven-like kingdom was beyond joy to watch, but sadly I wasn't impressed with the story line, as usual, if the action goes wow, the story line is not that good. Well, all in all it's definitely worth to watch though.

Osama is finally Killed?

The Australian reported, Osama bin Laden was hunted down and killed by US government,therefore, Barrack Obama officially nodded this news. The president continued saying "Yet his death doesn't mark the end of our effort, there is no doubt that Al-Qaida will continue to pursue attacks against us". Looks like Osama bin Laden was caught off guard while hiding in Pakistan. He used to be a member of billionaire family but disowned after he joined al-Qaida gang. But, one never knows the truth about this news until someone posts his dead body to public later.
