Big Day today

So it's my birthday Today. well a big day, not really since I happened to run the same thing as yesterday, but all is good, that's the important thing. I got a surprise yesterday and a perfect gift from my gal, I will rock this bad boy gift all day long, promise. It wasn't super expensive but I get the idea. Thanks babe.

To sum up, pretty good day for today, sure weekend will bring more surprises to me. Long live my self, forever young shall it be.

Awkward Moment at Buckingham Palace

Barrack Obama visited England last week and apparently he went to Buckingham Palace to meet with the queen and the rest of the royal family. He gave a speech for the queen but alas! his secretaries didn't know much about the protocol in royal family, here are some protocols I retrieve from the net:

- You must not touch a glass before the queen DOES
- You should be quiet while national anthem is playing

A few words that WORK

I stumbled across a beautiful passage on TV while eating my dinner. It was from Australia's Got Talent, nope, I am not the biggest fan of this show, and yes I think the judges are lame. Anyways back to the main point, the passage was saying "Prepare for the worst, and Hoping for the best", this one really stung me in the heart, I am at my down time now, finding a perfect solution isn't easy and yes I am preparing for my worst now but still hoping for the best. A great motivation to all human being in the world could come from the least expected thing.

Pirates of Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Nice we had been waiting for the this movie as Johnny Depp is starring on it and the previous Pirates trilogy were a huge success. Long story short, We secured our tickets and got ready to rock and roll, this time without popcorn, no problemo, I still got my iced green tea latte from Starbucks - remember lads, always bring something with you to enjoying your movie, unless you are gonna be drained and stuffed! :) Anyways, movie started and viola! I was bored during the whole movie! the story was exaggerating and boring, oh man not again, even the fifth one will come out and I would STILL watch it but the review is bad. Mr. Depp's acting was awesome but not the whole story, sorry to say.

The Governor says "Sorry"

Who would've thought he would cheat on his beloved wife? Well, Whoopi and the rest of The View crew did. When you are up there, the wind blows even stronger, and our weak defense will be struck by huge temptations. Irony for a such role model, I love him,both as a Terminator or a ordinary person with happy family on his side, but the truth tells different, it's been all revealed now and the memories will fade away. My sympathy to Maria. Their 25 years of marriage ended just like that.

Insidious

A Horror movie called Insidious, is playing at my favourite cinema. I've been bragging about this movie to my friends, no one wanted to watch it, typical chicken friends, I hear ya. LOL So, last night, I asked my gal and a friend to accompany me to watch this well-review horror movie at 9.30 pm, I thought watching at night would give more electric excitement to my thirst of good horror movie. Turned out I was right. Best horror movie in 2011, I could say. The plot, the scene, and the actors are well made/chosen. From a maker of Saw and Paranormal Activity - the house was the same as in Paranormal Activity 2, it was a modern movie with vintage touch. A must see for horror movie fans.
